Our tools assist you in understanding German texts by summarising them in simplified language. They are designed to enhance your reading experience and support you learning the German language.
Simba reduces the complexity of German online texts while retaining the core message. Our two tools replace long words with shorter synonyms, shorten sentences, and add information to clarify context. This is achieved through our web app (Text Simplifier) and browser extension, which utilise an AI model.
Our goal is to make online texts and information accessible to as many diverse individuals as possible. These target groups — such as non-native speakers or adults with disabilities — are highly varied. We believe that collaboration is key to enhancing our offerings. Therefore, we invite researchers, professionals, and engaged users to work with us. Their expertise will help us refine our base model and create simplifications suitable for different groups. Die höchsten Temperaturen des Tages sind am Donnerstag deutschlandweit in Cottbus gemessen worden. Nach vorläufigen Angaben des Deutschen Wetterdienstes (DWD) kletterte das Thermometer dort gegen 15:50 Uhr auf 35,5 Grad.
Auch der zweite Platz in der Rangliste der heißesten Orte des Tages ging an Brandenburg: In Wusterwitz im Landkreis Potsdam-Mittelmark wurden gegen 16:30 Uhr 35,3 Grad gemessen. 35,2 Grad warm wurde es laut Wetterdienst in mehreren Orten, etwa in der brandenburgischen Landeshauptstadt Potsdam und in Jena in Thüringen. Berlin und Brandenburg sei insgesamt ein Hitze-Hotspot gewesen.
In Berlin wurde die 30-Grad-Marke beipsielsweise in Tempelhof mit 34,7 Grad deutlich überschritten, in Berlin-Dahlem und Berlin-Buch wurden 34,1 Grad gemessen.
In Berlin und Brandenburg war es am Donnerstag sehr heiß. In Cottbus, Brandenburg, wurde die höchste Temperatur des Tages gemessen: 35,5 Grad. In Wusterwitz, Brandenburg, war es 35,3 Grad warm. In Berlin wurden Temperaturen von über 30 Grad erreicht, zum Beispiel 34,7 Grad in Tempelhof. In den nächsten Tagen soll die Hitze ein bisschen nachlassen.
